Weekly Challenge #192 - Seton

Went a bit puffy on this week's guest Diva Challenge. It's all good though. If a tangle has straight lines, I like to curve them. If a tangle has curved lines, I just have to try them straight. Blame my upbringing for encouraging me to question authority. (grin)
Pattern used: Seton

  5. Wonderful Tile, Duchess. Beautifully shaded, and your design is outstanding. I love how you gave the pattern such form and solidarity, and the weaving of the sashing is brilliant. (Quilting term.) The created puffiness is brilliant detail in creating body to your design. Well done.

  8. My father was an artist who very much colored outside the lines. To rebel, I had to go to law school and marry a doctor. So, not surprisingly, my vision of Seton was in a square. Yours is so much more interesting.:)

  12. Great orb. Would not have thought of even trying it. I think the word that you were avoiding using is oppositional. Just kidding.

  14. ooh! wonderful! I love the 3-dimensionality of it, and my plan is to steal your idea and play with it in my sketchbook! Excellent work. You can tell by looking at it, what it would feel like in your hand.
