Weekly Challenge #209 - Touch of Green and Zendala Dare #99

This week's Diva Challenge was to use a touch of green. I had been working on some rocks to scatter about the workplace on Tuesday...

...so I just used the same pattern and tangled it. The gold is really so beautiful in person, but like others have mentioned, it just doesn't scan. Oh well.

I just love the celtic knots, but they're not easy to replicate freehand!

And Antonine convinced me to try the Zendala Dare at Brightowl, She's right. That's a big time commitment, but it's a different way to tangle!

  1. Your stones rocks! I like them verrrryyyy much. I always like celtic knots, and you did great with this piece. I know it is not easy to draw them but you did it. Well done.

  5. I love everything you did here! Your stones are wonderful - a hint of antiquity and mystery! Your Celtic knot tile with the green and gold is so wonderful. It does remind me of the pages from illuminated manuscripts. The Celts did such stunning work. And finally - the ZENDALA! How fun! I can see it spinning in my mind. So light and airy and very original!

  9. Such wonderful creations! Love the rocks, they absolutely stunning!
Somethings just have to be seen in real, like the gold, but I don't know how it's supposed to look so I think it's awesome anyway :D

Your Zendala is beautiful, quite different to draw then a 'normal' tile, but you rocked it :D

  10. Nice work. I have some rocks but have not had the time to work on them yet. What pens did you use. I really like the pattern that you used. You did a great job with it in the larger tile. I like your scrolled background. Zendalas are fun to do. I was really regular before, but have not gotten back into it as consistently since she started up. Yours looks great and is very unique.

  12. These are all wonderful. I especially like the rocks, but your celtic knot tile is so well done and beautifully done. The gold accent is perfect for the knotwork and sets it off beautifully.
