Busy week, so just did a duo-tangle and played with my new 4B and paper stump to blend the shading. I think it got a bit muddy, but it was a great exercise. Looking forward to seeing the other entries on the Diva Site.
Patterns used: Yuma and Knyt
Great duo tangle with shading.
ReplyDeleteI love these tangles going over in each other!
ReplyDeleteGroovy mix of tangles!
ReplyDeleteNo mud here - love the way you 'knit' the two patterns together so beautifully! Axxx
ReplyDeleteYour YUMA is beautiful, and your weaving is fantastic
ReplyDeleteBeautiful drawing
I also love how you knit the two tangles together! Beautiful solution!
ReplyDeleteLooks lovely for 'just' an excercise!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Tile. Love your Yuma. The fill in the Yuma Eyes, is great with a very nice reflection highlight. The transition between patterns is awesome and seamless. Love the tendril ends waving on the right side. Lots of motion. You're doing great with the shading. It doesn't look muddy. Keep working with that Paper Stump and it will let you create graduated shading akin to an air brush. It is a truly amazing tool. Great job.
ReplyDeletelovely tile - I like the flow you get with the second pattern and the way you have darkened the pod-like shapes of Yuma
ReplyDeleteI am digging that knitted look on the right side. Well done..the piece as a whole looks like a warm snuggly lap blanket to wrap up in and read. Well done.
ReplyDeleteOh, such a fun transition into Knyt! Good job!
ReplyDeletevery nice,congratulation.
ReplyDeleteWonderful tile! I like the combination of Yuma and Knyt ... great idea! And it doesn´t look muddy!
ReplyDeleteOk, that is way too clever! Love how it looks like it's Yuma unwrapping instead of another tangle added on the end! I wish I could think like that but I'm pretty boring that way!
