Weekly Challenge #195 - Turning Old Into New

Grid to freeform, freeform to grid. What a fun challenge. I guess these two go both ways, but I like to think of it going from the grid to the freedom of the CO2. It's a happier progression, don't you think?

Looking forward to seeing the other entries in the Diva Challenge this week.

Weekly Challenge #194 - Embrace the Yuck

What? Drawing with your non-dominant hand. I'm totally skipping this week's Diva Challenge.
(chicken)

Maybe it would be interesting to try.
(doubt it)

C'mon... how bad could it be?
(bad)

So I ignored me, and did it anyway. I must say my left hand cramped up trying to listen to my brain. I found it much easier to move my whole left arm rather than trying to move my hand. And although it ended up being an underwater, wiggly creation, I'm glad I ignored me and did it anyway.

Patterns used: Mooka, Tipple, Lokar and Yincut

Weekly Challenge #193 - THX

Well this Diva Guest Challenge was tougher than I thought it would be. Tangling at a meeting. Post-it. Toss. Waiting for dinner. Post-it. Toss. Watching TV. Post-it. Toss. (no... don't look at everyone else's) Mental Post-it. Toss. Talking on phone. Post-it. Toss. They all looked too busy. I really struggled with XYP especially, and my Trio keeps getting lost. This is the best of the bunch, but I think all my attempts might have supported a logger for a year. Sometimes it's like that, I guess.

OK, now I can go look at all the other entries... my favorite part of the challenge!

Patterns used: Trio, Huggins, Xyp

Weekly Challenge #192 - Seton

Went a bit puffy on this week's guest Diva Challenge. It's all good though. If a tangle has straight lines, I like to curve them. If a tangle has curved lines, I just have to try them straight. Blame my upbringing for encouraging me to question authority. (grin)
