Well the lesson learned in this week's Diva Challenge is to know when to say when.
Sketched it out, and really liked it... then I added the weave. Hmmm... Needs a background, so I added the bubbles. Hmmm... Maybe if I color in the flowers. Ugh.... That's the busiest thing I've ever seen!
That's one really great thing about computers... the Undo. I know there's no Undo (or mistakes) in Zentangle, but sheesh, I'm feeling a lot of CTRL+Z on this tile.
I wouldn't CTRL+Z too much on this tile! Looks like a lovely Unbatz world to me. Great shadowing as well.
ReplyDeleteOh, it looks so easy and funny!
ReplyDeleteVery good work!
What!! Why would you CTRL+Z this?! I love the weave, I love the bubbles, I love how just one petal is coloured in. The tile isn't too busy at all! (though I might be speaking from a different perspective, since my tiles can get quite busy)
ReplyDeleteGreat great great, I love this tile, I like the weaving of the lines through the holes. Your tile has a lot of movement, and organic feel, and I love that feeling.
ReplyDeleteNot at all! You have some great white space and I love your interpretation of the UMT! Axxx
ReplyDeleteI love the weaving through of the tangle. Very nicely done!
ReplyDeleteThis is really a brilliant response to this week's challenge. Unbatz was, well, challenging, but you made it fascinating.
ReplyDeleteUmmm...what would you undo? It's beautiful! Unbatz is a nice tangle for March since the flowers,( or, abstract double 8 thingies if one is being Zentagle PC), give the tile a light Spring feel - and boy, do we need Spring in New England! I love the interweave and the bubbles and, well, all of it works perfectly. Very lovely!
ReplyDeleteI love how this looks like embroidery and pulled thread fabric work. Somehow gives an Irish linen look with elegant little shamrocks. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThat´s so beautiful! Very creative!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful tile. Forget the CTRL+Z. And not too busy at all. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI think this is a pretty tile, there's lots to see!
ReplyDeleteI like this tile a lot, the weaving is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThat's just so cool!
ReplyDeleteThe weave adds a unique dimension to this. Like how it goes in and out like Quibb.
ReplyDeletethis is a fun and whimsical approach to the challenge this week...really amazing!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this tile...the weaving is so unique and very well done. I definitely would not CRTL+Z this tile at all. I would frame it and let it shout itself out to the world. All kinds of fun in this tile.
