Life imitates art
Boyfriend and I went hiking yesterday and I found myself surrounded by tangles.
Here's my Diva's Challenge for the week. Is it still considered a zentangle if I drafted the framework in pencil first? I always have had a hard time following directions.
Patterns used: X-did (of course), Diva dance, Mooka (sorta) and Onomato (sorta)
Oohhh, what a nice Celtic spin on this one! Beautiful!
ReplyDeletethat's nice. thanks for your comment. i'm surprised that for most of us this challenge was a real challenge.....
ReplyDeleteReally like this one...it feels comfortable and comforting at the same time. Just makes me want to relax. Very nice tile!
ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS! I love your take on x-did! I also like the celtic feeling to it... I think the Mooka ends to x-did are fantastic... GREAT idea and beautifully drawn, shaded, AND colored! Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving me a comment! (Sorry the cookies were gone... next time!)
ReplyDeleteI don't know if my former comment was comming through, so I'am sorry if you get it twice. I like your mooka sprouts out of the X-did. You did a great job with this patternplay!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty tangle. I like the purple. I think your X-did is great and I like your choice of patterns.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful elegant tile with Xdid in a Celtic way.
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous tile! Your take on X-Did is quite impressive. Quite lovely.
ReplyDeleteLike the onomato flowing through and the mooka peeking out. Very good interpretation. I too see patterns everywhere. I purchased a lighter the other day and told my daughter it looked like a tangle pattern. She said she thought so also :)
