Funny, I was doing my rock thang this weekend and was playing with Phicops. Who knew that would be the diva challenge this week!? Doesn't count though, cuz I used those other three tangles.
Played around a little too long with this one and started seeing circular saws. I think the phicops gets a bit lost in the "wood". Maybe I should have used some echo? Open to suggestions.
Patterns used: Phicops and DivaDance
Your rock is wonderful. I smiled when I saw your phicops cutting through the wood, and that was before I actually read your post. Great job.
ReplyDeleteGreat tile. I like the shading on the trees, and the idea of the free range phicops in the forest.
ReplyDeleteThat rock is stinkin cool. I need to tangle rocks.
ReplyDeleteI pick one off the trail each time I hike, and bring it home to be tangled. Then next time I go out, I leave it to be found. One of the chicks called it a RAZ (Random Act of Zentangle). My problem is, I leave one each time I go out, and pick up 10. Boyfriend is threatening an intervention. ;)
DeleteI love the way Phicops is coming out of the woods. Not lost to me at all!
ReplyDeleteThe rock is so Kool! And the fact that you put it back all decorated is just great. Just think what some archeologists will say about it in 1000 years! hahahaha!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA! That's funny!
Deletelove your circular saws! I think phicops is beautiful when in a circle. Your rock is pretty cool too.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love love your rock. Looks great with the pointilism shading technique. Your tile is great too. Looks like Diva trees, and the leaves of the trees are falling down (Phicops).
ReplyDeleteeverything is connected. i used to paint stones to get a part of my income when i was doing stonesculpting, and the last few days i made some ZIA-stones too., it's just like an other experience and fun.
ReplyDeleteFun RAZ stones and a lively tile. It was a neat idea!
ReplyDeleteI love both, the stone and the zia!!!
ReplyDeleteLove both of your Tiles. Your Tree DivaDance pattern is awesome, such a wonderful design idea. I love your Stone Tangle. What a wonderful treat it would be to find one of your RAZies while hiking in the woods. Love it.
ReplyDeleteNice composition. They could be saws or just buds floating along.
ReplyDeleteReally cool! I love your composition.
ReplyDeleteNope, I don't think the phicops get lost in the "wood" at all. I especially like the one where it is disappearing (or appearing) into the slit in the wood. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteVery unusual design, The Phicops look like they are being shot from a slingshot.
ReplyDeleteo.k..... i added a picture of some of my ZIA-stones on my blog. have a nice weekend.
ReplyDeleteLove your tile. And I need to do some RAZ!
ReplyDeleteI love your stone
ReplyDeleteI love your tile; it is very unique. I think it is great that you pick up rocks on you hike but return them for others to enjoy. RAZ is a cool term too. ;)
