Simple, really? What in life is simple?! Especially in December. Again... that's why they call it a challenge. I admit I peeked at other's posts on the Diva Challenge before doing my own. Everyone seems to define "simple" differently.
I wanted to do something other than Mooka (my go-to) so I just went up on Tangle Patterns and watched the blocks go by. When I saw Groovy, I just had to go with it.
Merry Christmas and I'll see you all in the New Year!
Simple and seasonal...and a great pattern, especially for those of us old enough to remember when "Groovy, Man" was not an anacronism. I wonder if I still have those granny glasses...Have a very happy holiday!
Makes me think of the type of cookie dough that is soft and you put through a press that give it a twist...we used to make red and green at this time of year. AND you even have the cookie sheet under it. Thanks for the memories : ) I 'll have to give groovy a try.
Love your Tile, Duchess. Love your Groovy pattern and an ever so subtle touch of Aquafleur. Delightful Tile and wonderful colors. Happy Holidays to you and your family.
Beautifully done. I love it in the two colors!

ReplyDeleteNice festive tile for the season. Like your creation of a tile with the pointillism.
